Our Johnny Homemaker Sofa arrived last week and I could not be more pleased. It is a stunner- I chose the trillium wrapped cushions and performance fabric in Shepard's flint. The craftsmanship is apparent and this sofa is *heavy*! Cushions and fabric are beautifully custom, stitching is impeccable. I did pause with the price, but when it arrived all I can say is WOW...... knew it was well worth it. This sofa will last 20 years! Thank you so much for making quality products.

Amazing quality! Amazing company!We absolutely love our new sofa. It was worth every penny. We were definitely nervous buying online (without being able to see and feel in person). With Benchmade you can get every single swatch sent to you quickly and for free which takes the guesswork out of choosing a color. The Skinny Fat (40" depth) is the perfect combination of refined structure and lounging comfort that is not sloppy looking. We chose the conran fabric in wheat color which is just beautiful. It's a nice nuetral tone that is not too brown and not too gray.We were able to customize the size to our desired specifications, the manufacturing times were much faster than other companies, the reviews were great, and it's made in the USA.They have great customer service too. When our new sofa was delivered (earlier than they estimated) and we got it all unpackaged we sadly found a hole in the back of one of the sectional pieces that appeared to be from a fork lift going through it. I contacted customer service and sent a couple pictures. They were very empathetic to the situation and immediately set out to make it right. They sent a technician to our home to repair the damage and it looks as good as new now. I would absolutely recommend this company!!

I purchased a vacation rental property on Cape Cod in late December. With all of the issues with supply chain delays, finding a suitable sofa manufacturer that could commit to custom fabrication & delivery in 8-10 weeks was a challenge. I spent a long time researching and decided on BenchMade Modern. I loved that they sent an entire swatch box (for free!) which allowed me to perfectly select the right color. The sofa was manufactured on time and delivered on schedule, in perfect condition. I went with the standard cushions (to reduce the "fluffing" others had mentioned. They are firm, but very comfortable! It's always a risk buying something so personal, sight unseen! I could not be happier with the end result!
